Chicago Murphy's Breakfast with Santa 2025

One of John Carroll University's most cherished traditions is the Chicago Alumni Chapter's Breakfast with Santa. This special gathering of JCU alumni and their families features Mass, a brunch buffet, and a visit with Santa. Children are encouraged to bring their lists so they can share their wishes with Jolly Old Saint Nick.

Murphy's Breakfast with Santa was started in 1997 by the late Richard L. Murphy 57'. Dick was a previous recipient of the Alumni Medal, the highest award given by the JCU Alumni Association, and was a committed member of the John Carroll alumni community in Chicago for decades. This annual event is one of our most cherished traditions and is a can't miss annual event run by the Chicago Alumni Chapter.

10 AM - Mass 
10:45 AM - Brunch Buffet
11:15 AM (approx.) - Visit from Santa Claus

$40 per adult (age 14+)
$25 per child (age 2-13)
Free for children age 2 and younger

Additionally, please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy (for children between infant and 12 years of age) as part of the chapter's effort to help make area children's holidays special.
